I use traditional oil painting to tell stories about corrupted power, corporate absurdism, and the human experience. With a background in political science, I inevitably view the world through the lens of institutional structures, authority, and human behavior—examining how the individual navigates the systems we build around ourselves.

My work directly reflects the environments I have lived in and observed. Growing up in the Philippines—a culture deeply shaped by Spanish colonial history and religious authority—and now living in the United States, where corporate suits reign supreme, I am drawn to the uniforms of hierarchy. Across my canvases, you will find men in suits, figures in regalia, and embedded religious iconography used as emblems of status and control.

While modern technology and systems have made society more efficient, we are ultimately grappling with the same fundamental struggles human beings have faced since time immemorial. Through allegories and satire, as well as quieter, imaginary portraits, my paintings reflect the quiet tension between who we are and the complicated world we have imposed upon ourselves.
